Description I am developing a new hunting product and need an experienced product designer to help bring the concept to life. The product is designed for dove hunters and combines several items hunters currently carry into one system. The concept includes: • a hard molded plastic base that functions as a seat • backpack straps for carrying • Cordura nylon gear storage (shell pockets, bird pouch, decoy storage) • a padded lid seat • additional features like a shotgun barrel rest strap and magnet stick holder This product combines elements of: • tactical backpacks • hunting gear bags • cooler-style containers • outdoor seating systems I already have rough sketches and a feature list. ⸻ Scope of Work I am looking for someone who can: 1. Create a 3D CAD design of the product 2. Help refine the layout and ergonomics 3. Design both the hard shell base and soft gear components 4. Produce a full manufacturing tech pack including: • materials • dimensions • hardware • stitching details • assembly instructions 5. Provide realistic renderings of the product The final deliverable should be ready to send to manufacturers for prototype production. ⸻ Ideal Experience Looking for designers who have experience with: • backpacks • tactical gear • hunting or outdoor equipment • soft goods design (Cordura / nylon gear) • plastic product design Please include examples of similar work if possible. ⸻ Project Budget Budget is flexible depending on experience.
