You'll work closely with our revenue operations team to resolve billing and collection inquiries, provide financial counseling, and ensure excellent customer satisfaction. This is a remote work opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide day-to-day customer service activities within the hospital revenue operations, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and resolving billing and collection inquiries * Serve as part of a Customer Service team responsible for handling various self-pay and insurance billing and collection inquiries * Assist patients in the resolution of billing issues, providing clear explanations and solutions * Provide detailed documentation and reports of customer complaints, tracking trends of customer service encounters * Resolve independently or escalate issues affecting customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution * Perform communication and follow-up processes related to customer service, ensuring seamless interactions with patients and healthcare providers * Perform other duties as needed and assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the success of the revenue operations team **Requirements** * High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related field, with successful completion of the arenaflex Trainee program * At least one (1) year of experience and relevant knowledge of revenue cycle functions, preferably in a complex, multi-site environment * Financial counseling experience is essential, with a strong understanding of healthcare billing and collection processes * Experience with the Epic medical billing system is required, with a proven ability to navigate and troubleshoot system issues * Previous service/call center experience is preferred, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and operate keyboard and telephone effectively * Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems * Completion of regulatory/mandatory certifications and skills validation competencies is preferred, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex billing and collection issues * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Basic understanding of healthcare billing and collection processes, with a strong desire to learn and grow in this area * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
