Job title: PART TIME PARAEDUCATOR

Job description: Part Para Title one, math and reading Para Educator position at Raft River High School
Performance Responsibilities may include:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring
- Conduct parent involvement activities
- Assist with class management and organizing materials
- Provide instructional services under the supervision of a certified teacher
- Assume limited non-program related duties if equitable to those of other staff members
- Work independently and with a team to maintain a clean, appropriate and friendly work environment
- Interact with students, parents, staff, faculty and administration effectively and professionally
- Follow oral and written instructions and observe District, State and federal policies and procedures
- Follow all Board approved policies, safety rules and regulations
- Attend in-services and training sessions.
- Respect and practice confidentiality both in and out of school with regard to records, activities and communications relating to all students, parents/guardians and staff
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have an Associate's Degree or a minimum of 32 education related credits or pass the Para Pro Test. For information on the Para Pro test, contact Nicole Gee at 208-878-6600. If no answer please leave a message and she will return your call.
Salary based on the current year Para educator Salary Schedule.
Placement determined by education and prior experience as a Para educator.
