Job Description: I am a single-member LLC based in Florida, operating nationally, providing advisory services in real estate development, construction management (non-execution), and private real estate investment. I am seeking a highly experienced attorney for an ongoing, as-needed engagement, with the goal of establishing a long-term working relationship. The role will focus on providing legal guidance and contract support tailored to my advisory-based business model. Scope of Work: Review, and refine consulting and advisory agreements on an as needed basis Advise on legal structure and risk mitigation for: Real estate development advisory services Construction management advisory (non-performing, non-contracting role) Private real estate investor advisory engagements Ensure contracts clearly define scope, limitations of liability, and non-performance responsibilities Provide guidance on multi-state legal considerations and enforceability Recommend best practices for protecting a solo LLC operating nationally Requirements: Minimum 15 years of legal experience Licensed attorney in Florida with substantial experience handling multi-state matters Deep expertise in: Real estate development law Construction law (specifically advisory/consulting vs. contracting) Professional services and consulting agreements Demonstrated experience advising small business LLCs and solo operators Strong ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical, business-focused guidance Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience at a large national or international law firm Experience representing or advising consultants, advisors, or owner’s representatives Familiarity with liability limitation strategies, indemnification clauses, and insurance alignment (E&O considerations) Engagement Structure: This is an ongoing, as-needed engagement with the intent to build a long-term relationship. Work will be project-based initially, with potential for recurring advisory support as my business continues to grow. Deliverable: Clear, tailored legal guidance and contract reviews/edits that appropriately protect my business while supporting efficient client engagement.
