Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Hartford is an insurance company dedicated to making a difference, and they are seeking a Customer Relationship Specialist. The primary role involves providing an effortless experience to policyholders and handling inbound telephone calls regarding insurance inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Promote digital self service capabilities
- Take ownership to ensure that we go above and beyond to service each caller's needs, utilizing every touch point as an opportunity to build value and The Hartford brand
- Assisting customers over the phone
- Must have the ability to learn insurance product and processes in training environment
- Required to commit to the training and work schedule
- Have a dedicated workspace free from distractions during work and training hours
Skills
- A demonstrated background in customer service, call center, insurance, retail, restaurant or a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced complex environment while navigating multiple programs
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with ability to empathize with customers and colleagues
- Adaptability
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- Spanish bilingual a plus
- High speed broadband internet service is required, we do not recommend or support DSL, wireless, Wi-Fi, Hotspots, Fiber without a modem and Satellite
- Internet provider supplied modem/router/gateway is hardwired to the Hartford issued computer with an ethernet cable
- Minimum upload/download speeds of 10Mbps/300 Mbps will be required
