Job Title: Business Analyst SME – Training & On-Project Support
Domains: Banking | Retail | Property & Casualty Insurance | Healthcare
Experience: 10 –12+ Years
Type: Part-Time / On-Demand Support
Role Overview:
We are looking for experienced Business Analyst Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who will train, guide, and support consultants placed on client projects.
This is not a delivery role. Instead, the SME will act as a mentor, coach, and backup support system, ensuring candidates:
Understand project expectations
Handle client interactions confidently
Deliver work effectively
Survive and succeed in real-time project environments
Core Responsibility (This is the KEY difference)
You are not doing the project work
You are enabling someone else to succeed in the project
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pre-Project Training (Critical)
Conduct domain-specific crash training before the candidate joins the project
Train on:
Real project scenarios (not theory)
Common BA deliverables (BRD, FRD, User Stories)
Client expectations in US-based projects
Prepare candidates for:
First client call
Requirement gathering sessions
Stakeholder communication
2. On-Project Support (MOST IMPORTANT)
Provide daily/weekly guidance once the candidate is on the project
Help candidates:
Understand assigned tasks
Break down requirements
Prepare responses before client calls
Be available for:
“Urgent help” before meetings
Clarifying doubts in real-time
3. Deliverable Support
Review and improve:
BRDs (Business Requirement Documents)
User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
Process flows & documentation
Ensure candidate submissions are:
Client-ready
Structured and professional
4. Domain Guidance (Hands-on Mentorship)
Banking
Explain real workflows:
Digital banking, payments, lending
Guide on how to talk about:
Core banking, compliance, integrations
Retail
Train on:
Order lifecycle, inventory, customer journey
Help candidates relate answers to real business use cases
Property & Casualty Insurance
Property & Casualty Insurance
Teach:
Policy lifecycle, claims, and underwriting
Help candidates survive tools like Guidewire discussions
Healthcare
Train on:
Claims, billing, EHR/EMR basics
Guide on compliance (HIPAA) discussions
5. Confidence & Communication Coaching
- Help candidates:
- Speak confidently in client calls
- Handle pressure situations
- Avoid getting exposed due to a lack of knowledge
- What We Expect from SME
- Ability to simplify complex concepts quickly
- Real US project experience (very important)
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Availability for on-demand support (critical moments)
- Practical mindset (no textbook teaching)

Package: 400 USD to 500 USD for Job Support to Candidates per Month, 300 USD Per Candidate for Training.
