Job Description Summary
As Risk Operations and Tech Operations Leader, you will be focused on blending your technical expertise and FLIGHT DECK acumen to optimize all systems and tools deployed across Central Compliance. In this role, you will identify ways to increase capacity, streamline process, enhance quality and better meet customer outcomes at a system and data level. You will document and own central compliance data architecture, providing a structured framework for changing procedures and standards. Alongside functional owners, you will own the tech portion of the operational strategy for our GRC tool (currently Workiva), Open Reporting system (TBD), Site Audit System (Audit Board) and SCRA tool and risk operations workflows (various platforms). You will develop data dictionaries and architecture diagrams to assist functional teams in value stream mapping and maximizing use of the tool through their Standard Work. You will maintain reporting standards, set in collaboration with functional owners, provide recurring reports at set intervals and respond to ad-hoc requests in a timely manner. Repetitive ad-hoc requests will be identified as automation or self-service candidates. You will optimize our current use of visualization tools to enable the highest value employee and customer experience.

    Job Description
  • Identify the critical processes, systems, and tools used by Central Compliance.
  • Develop and own the central compliance data inventory and data architecture.
  • Own the SCRA tool with near-term focus on data quality, data validation, and automation of data sources into the L&C data lake.
  • Together with DT and the SCRM program manager, you will collect requirements and design the architecture for a next generation SCRA tool built on new technology.
  • Oversee and manage the new platform build and implementation alongside the customer-facing teams.
  • Evaluate the Risk Operations workflows for waste reduction, automation, and AI opportunities; identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Work with the Analytics Leader to define detailed functional specifications and run AI projects through the central DT teams.
  • Oversee the technical implementation of the new open reporting system and provide operational tool/system support to the open reporting team.
  • Work with the vendor to develop training content and train users on how to use systems according to defined business processes.
  • Increase self-service reporting options across Central Compliance, including assisting in recommending new data products or enhancements to current products to the products council.
  • Manage the Central Compliance DT project pipeline directly on behalf of functional project leaders from functional specifications to operational integration phases.
  • Oversee the technical operations of the Compliance website, R&G elements of the external website, dashboards including Health Check, Smartsheets, Airtable, ETQ (in collaboration with corporate teams), and other current-state digital tools.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and simplify.
  • Redesign the process for establishing and maintaining distribution lists across all Central Compliance and key partner groups (ambassador network, risk focals).
  • Manage the Compliance Risk Operations Analyst; work with the DT Product Owner for any software, license, or technical contract support needs.
  • Test new solutions to ensure they meet business needs; provide user acceptance for changes to systems.
  • Attend product reviews/demos and provide product feedback; participate in make/buy decisions by evaluating software.
    Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college
  • Very strong, current understanding of the technical marketplace and GE Aerospace and L&C offerings
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in legal or compliance
  • Strong project management & CAP skills
  • Strong ability to act both collaboratively and independently

The base pay range for this position is $155,000 to $206,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on April, 4th 2026.
