Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Richardson, TX, for a Construction Defect Adjuster. The role involves managing construction defect claims from initial investigation to resolution. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing policy coverage, conducting field investigations, coordinating with contractors and experts, negotiating settlements, and preparing reports. Additionally, the adjuster will uphold compliance with company standards, ensure timely resolution of claims, and maintain open communication with clients and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.

    Qualifications
  • Expertise in claims handling, policy coverage analysis, and negotiation strategies
  • Experience conducting investigative work, including field inspections and damage assessments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple claims efficiently
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities for client interactions and report preparation
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and construction materials or practices is highly beneficial
  • Proficiency in using claims management systems and basic computer applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Richardson, TX
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in insurance or construction are a plus
