Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Latitude Legal is seeking a HIPAA Contracts Manager/Paralegal for one of its corporate clients with a strong background in drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial agreements. The role involves ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and supporting counsel with contract negotiations and vendor risk assessments. Responsibilities • Draft, review, and manage a variety of commercial contracts (vendor agreements, business associate agreements, licensing agreements, etc.) • Maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and tracking systems to ensure consistency and version control • Coordinate with internal departments (legal, compliance, IT, operations) to ensure contract requirements align with organizational policies • Assist in identifying and mitigating HIPAA-related compliance risks in contracts and business operations • Assist in developing and maintaining HIPAA compliance documentation, training materials, and audit responses Skills • 3+ years of paralegal experience, with emphasis on contracts and regulatory compliance • Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules and related healthcare compliance requirements • Strong understanding of commercial contract structures and key legal concepts • Proficiency in document management and contract lifecycle systems • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills • Paralegal certification or equivalent experience required • Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP) or similar credential preferred Benefits • Complimentary professional liability insurance coverage • Group medical, dental, and vision insurance • Complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance • Qualified 401k plan • CLE and Professional Expense stipend Company Overview • Latitude is a legal services company that provides employing, in-house counseling, and law attorneys.
