They are seeking an applied scientist with expertise in NLP and/or Computer Vision to solve complex problems in medical document understanding and improve AI-driven healthcare solutions.
- Responsibilities
- Solve complex problems in medical document understanding and question-answering using modern NLP and vision methodologies
- Make data-driven decisions on algorithms and techniques tailored to specific business challenges
- Work with limited and noisy labeled data, bootstrapping and iterating to improve model output in practical, real-world settings
- Continuously evaluate and optimize models for scalability and performance in production environments
- Learn the intricacies of the healthcare domain and evolve into an industry expert over time
- Skills
- Expertise in NLP and/or Computer Vision
- Strong Software Engineering Skills
- Ability to solve complex problems in medical document understanding and question-answering using modern NLP and vision methodologies
- Experience making data-driven decisions on algorithms and techniques tailored to specific business challenges
- Ability to work with limited and noisy labeled data, bootstrapping and iterating to improve model output in practical, real-world settings
- Experience continuously evaluating and optimizing models for scalability and performance in production environments
- Willingness to learn the intricacies of the healthcare domain and evolve into an industry expert over time
