Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a highly skilled and visionary AI Architect & Engineer to join their IT Delivery Excellence team. This role focuses on leading the design, development, and deployment of AI, automation, and advanced analytics solutions to enhance business outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of AI/ML and generative AI solutions aligned to business goals
- Architect scalable, secure AI systems and integrate them into enterprise platforms
- Build prototypes, validate concepts, and drive model deployment into production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact AI opportunities
- Ensure AI systems follow security, compliance, and Responsible AI guidelines
- Drive innovation, mentor teams, and support continuous improvement
- Lead the exploration and application of novel Al algorithms and tools to continuously advance the organization’s capabilities
- Skills
- Hands‑on experience developing and deploying AI/ML and generative AI models
- Enterprise and integration architecture design experience
- Cloud and platform engineering expertise
- Experience with prototypes, PoCs, and production-scale AI
- Ability to translate business challenges into AI solutions
- Strong customer‑first mindset
- Excellent technical and non‑technical communication
- Develop automation strategies that reduce operational complexity, increase efficiency, and enhance decision making across systems
- Leverage Al to automate manual tasks, optimize workflows, and continuously improving operational processes
- Continuously optimize processes through intelligent automation
- Experience influencing enterprise strategy
- Track record of leading cross-functional teams
- Strong strategic mindset
- Be a thought leader in Al, keeping abreast of new trends and technologies, and ensuring the team's capabilities remain on the cutting edge
- Bachelor degree from an accredited institution with four-plus (4+) years IT experience
- In lieu of a degree, ten-plus (10+) years of relevant IT experience required
- Strong initiative and teamwork
- Authorized to work in the U.S
- 18+ years old
- Willing to undergo drug test & post‑offer physical
- Generative AI experience (Healthcare, Finance, Retail preferred)
