Salesforce Developer (Healthcare / Health Cloud)
Description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting applications, systems, and IT products required to enable healthcare business objectives. This role will develop and maintain Salesforce solutions with a focus on healthcare workflows, patient engagement, care coordination, and integrations with healthcare systems.SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the Salesforce platform supporting healthcare operations.
- Work with healthcare stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Configure and customize Salesforce applications including Salesforce Health Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and Salesforce Experience Cloud.
- Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and external healthcare systems such as EMR/EHR platforms using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Build custom applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
- Implement healthcare-specific workflows including patient management, care coordination, provider collaboration, and case management.
- Support system/application integrations and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Ensure solutions follow Salesforce development best practices, security standards, and platform governor limits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, healthcare operations teams, and IT stakeholders.
- Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Skills / Requirements
- 7+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Strong experience working with Salesforce Health Cloud implementations or healthcare-related Salesforce solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Experience Cloud.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building integrations between Salesforce and healthcare systems using REST APIs, synchronoasynchronous APIs, and batch classes.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and integrations with EHR/EMR systems is a plus.
- Experience with Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) in Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices, Apex design patterns, and governor limits.
- Experience in optimizing and troubleshooting Salesforce applications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical teams and healthcare stakeholders.
