- *Key Responsibilities**
- Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and procedures.
- Meets or exceeds departmental quality and service standards, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in all aspects of claims processing and record management.
- Delivers routine work independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of claims processing.
- Makes routine & non-routine decisions, applying limited but increasingly more discretion within role except for matters of significance which affect the business as a whole or a significant part of it, in accordance with established procedures & guidelines.
- Determines eligibility and confirms effective dates for benefit elections based on contractual guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Leverages critical thinking and problem-solving skills to create and modify member level records across multiple products, applications, and platforms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintains accurate member records by verifying dates, names, salary figures, and other information provided by groups, ensuring the integrity of our data.
- Applies policy provisions for effective dates, evidence of insurability, and other pertinent information to determine necessary changes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Considers the customer experience in all actions, recognizing what needs to be done to meet customer needs and demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness in system work independently.
- *Essential Qualifications**
- High School or GED (Minimum Required)
- No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow with our team is essential.
