They are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
- Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Microsoft Fabric tools and services
- Integrate data from multiple sources (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured) into centralized data models
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL process issues in a timely manner
- Maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows
- Stay current with Microsoft Fabric updates, features, and best practices
- Support data analytics and reporting teams by providing clean, well-structured datasets
- Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as an ETL Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and related services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI integration)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred)
- Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Understanding of big data technologies and distributed computing
- Knowledge of API integration and real-time data streaming
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control (e.g., Git)
