This is an Independent Contractor position. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Radiology Transcriptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, along with excellent typing skills. Strong aptitude for learning new systems; quick to master new tools and processes. Self-directed in reviewing account specs and ensuring accurate implementation.
- Duties
- Transcribe audio recordings of radiology reports accurately and efficiently, ensuring clarity and proper formatting
- Review and edit transcriptions for grammatical accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Manage multiple transcription assignments within designated timeframes
- Utilize specialized transcription software and medical terminology databases to enhance accuracy
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in transcription
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to radiology reports
- Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and transcription software
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively
Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
