- *Daily Responsibilities of a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist**
As a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Scanning, tracking, and processing claims and claims correspondence with high accuracy and efficiency
- Researching claims that come back with errors to identify and correct any discrepancies
- Entering data into our electronic records system with a high level of accuracy and speed
- Meeting or exceeding production numbers and attendance requirements
- Maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy, with a goal of entering 20 claims per hour with 97% accuracy
- *Schedule and Pay**
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
- Competitive hourly rate of $15 per hour
- *Length of Assignment**
- 3-month contract with the opportunity to extend or convert to a permanent position
- *Requirements of a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of experience working in data entry, with a focus on high-volume typing
- Excellent typing skills, with the ability to type 35+ WPM
- A reliable smartphone, high-speed internet, and a private workspace for remote work
- To be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
