Overview
We’re looking for a Social Media Strategist to help set up, grow, and manage organic social media for public-sector and government-adjacent clients. This role goes beyond posting—focused on community building, engagement growth, and organic performance.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and optimize social media accounts across key platforms
- Build and manage community engagement (comments, replies, conversations)
- Develop an organic social strategy to increase engagement and reach
- Analyze post performance and identify what’s working
- Recommend top-performing organic posts for paid amplification
- Ensure content and engagement follow public-sector / government standards
What We’re Looking For
- 1-3+ years experience in social media strategy or management
- Proven success growing organic engagement (not just scheduling posts)
- Experience setting up social media accounts from scratch
- Understanding of how organic content supports paid social
- Experience with government, public-sector, nonprofit, or regulated accounts
- Strong writing and communication skills
