- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Data Entry Clerk & Online Chat Assistant, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of data-driven solutions, as well as providing exceptional customer service through online chat support. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines, dashboards, and reports to support business operations and decision-making
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Monitoring and Business Analysts, to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
- Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and data architecture to support business growth and innovation
- Utilizing data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful visualizations using Power BI
- Automating existing business processes and improving exception-based reporting
- Partnering with IT and business stakeholders to discover, analyze, and integrate new data sources (data mining)
- Evaluating large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable insights
- Validating data for accuracy and resolving discrepancies
- Researching and remediating data errors
- Participating in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods
- Examining and validating metrics to ensure effectiveness and providing recommendations to team leaders on areas for improvement
- *Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in comprehensive data analysis, with a strong focus on data visualization and storytelling
- Proficiency in Power BI, including experience with Dimensions, Solutions, Filters, Computed Fields, makeovers, parameters, conditional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc.
- Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code
- Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, PowerBI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
- Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures
- Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets
- Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
- Familiarity with Smartsheets

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
- Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services
- Experience with agile project management methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
