- *Job Summary**
As an Experienced Concierge Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You'll work closely with our internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, leveraging your expertise in healthcare-related customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries from clients, providing accurate and timely resolutions to their concerns
- Negotiate with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers
- Assist clients with benefits and healthcare questions, demonstrating a strong understanding of healthcare-related topics
- Document all calls received in our system-based call log, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
- *Essential Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of college or higher education preferred
- 1 year of customer service or call center experience in a healthcare-related role
- Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience a plus
- Bilingual English-Spanish a plus
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Strong knowledge of provider organizations and networks
- Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
- Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures
- Claim processing skills a plus
- Insurance verification or pre-certification a plus
- Provider office/facility billing department or financial area experience a plus
- Strong analytical and research skills

- Strong appreciation and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Proficient with Microsoft applications and strong computer skills
- Excellent data entry and typing skills
- Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures

- Medical terminology knowledge a plus

As a remote customer service representative, you'll work in a typical office/home office environment, requiring prolonged sitting in front of a computer. You'll need hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment, including computers and phone systems.
