Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a global, not-for-profit organization focused on promoting sustainable forest management. The Supply Chain Network Manager will connect supply and demand for FSC-certified products in North America, leveraging data-driven insights and market intelligence to support certificate holders and enhance FSC's impact in the forestry value chain. Responsibilities β’ Develop supply chain "heat maps" to visualize demand, supply, gaps, and bottlenecks β’ Integrate external industry data with FSC datasets using Power BI and related tools β’ Provide data and insights to support business development, outreach prioritization, and matchmaking β’ Research and monitor industry trends, market developments, and news relevant to FSC β’ Act as a connector between regional network partners and FSC International teams, especially Policy & Performance and Value Chain Development β’ Support evidence-based decision-making across the North America team Skills β’ Bachelor's degree in environmental science, forestry, data science, or a related field β’ 5+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally within the forest products sector or related industries β’ Legal authorization to work in the USA or Canada β’ Strong data analysis and visualization skills β’ Ability to create custom, practical solutions by combining internal and external data β’ Comfort working independently in a remote environment β’ Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills β’ Strong written and spoken English β’ Proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and familiarity with AI tools β’ Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to diverse audiences (virtual and in-person) β’ Highly organized, self-directed, and effective with remote collaboration tools β’ Collaborative mindset with a strategic, problem-solving approach β’ Understanding of forest product supply chains β’ Enjoys making complex data accessible and actionable β’ Curious about market dynamics and industry trends β’ Excited to use technology and analytics to support sustainability at scale Benefits β’ A collaborative, inclusive, and values-led culture β’ Meaningful work with real environmental and social impact β’ Flexible, remote-friendly working arrangements β’ Opportunities for professional growth, learning, and cross-regional collaboration β’ A comprehensive benefits package and a strong commitment to work-life balance Company Overview β’ Healthy forests help life on Earth thrive.
