Bluebird is currently seeking Remote International Freight Forwarding Non Asset Sales Executives with an innate passion for sales and forging long-standing partnerships, to expand our international freight forwarding business, through the procurement of new clients. Candidates must be in the radius of Chicago, IL, Boston, MA or Newark, NJ Responsibilities/Tasks Include β’ Develop the Chicago, IL, Boston, MA or Newark, NJ region β’ Market end-to-end freight-forwarding services inclusive of air and ocean, import, export and domestic services β’ Contact business prospects and conduct sales calls on new and existing clients β’ Obtain and maintain complete and accurate information on prospective and existing clients in contact management database β’ Demonstrate effective negotiation and closing techniques in securing profitable business across all products β’ Clearly communicate the development of potential business throughout the sales cycle β’ Uncover new opportunities within potential and existing clients β’ Ensure proper account set-up β’ Communicate with internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner β’ Conduct face to face meetings with potential and existing clients β’ Manage a portfolio of existing and potential customer with emphasis on 10 target clients Required Experience: β’ 5-7 years of experience selling non-asset based freight forwarding services β’ Must have sales experience within International Freight Forwarding (FCL, LCL, Ocean Freight, etc.) β’ Solid verbal communication and an aggressive drive as well as commitment to develop and grow a client base β’ Ability to interact effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels β’ Knowledge of supply chain management and knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry β’ Profit and loss statement knowledge Apply tot his job
