Law Life Coach is seeking an experienced commercial real estate attorney to join their team on a contract or part-time basis, focusing primarily on retail leasing work for family-owned shopping centers. The role involves handling various retail leasing matters, drafting agreements, and maintaining strong client relationships, all while offering the flexibility of remote work. Responsibilities • Handle the full spectrum of retail leasing matters including drafting, negotiating, and revising lease agreements on behalf of landlords, as well as amendments and assignments • Work includes purchase and sale agreements (representing Sellers typically), and occasionally commercial real estate finance matters • Hit the ground running: we have templates for each client and recurring relationships • Steady meaningful work: strong client base and consistent work flow • Fast-paced but manageable: expectation of lease drafts with a 5 day turn around and amendments in 2-3 days Skills • Active CA bar license • Ability to work independently • Responsiveness and reliability • 5+ years commercial real estate experience, retail leasing strongly preferred • Experience with Title and Survey review useful • Commercial Real Estate Financing experience is a plus Company Overview • Coaching and Recruiting Services for Attorneys and Law Firms It was founded in 2016, and is headquartered in Santa Monica, CA, US, with a workforce of 2-10 employees.
