About the position The Facilities Operations Management Director at CBRE is responsible for overseeing facility operations for a large region or high-profile client. This role involves managing staff functions, ensuring effective service delivery, and aligning operations with the organization's strategic goals. The director will lead a team, conduct performance evaluations, and drive revenue growth while ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate policies. Responsibilities β€’ Provide formal supervision to employees and monitor their training and development. β€’ Conduct performance evaluations and coaching for staff. β€’ Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. β€’ Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establishing work schedules and assigning tasks. β€’ Set and track staff and department deadlines, mentoring and coaching as needed. β€’ Assist in providing efficient and effective strategic operations, including revenue growth and profitability. β€’ Conduct departmental financial evaluations, including monthly revenue and expense projections. β€’ Ensure marketing collateral and communications are in accordance with company standards. β€’ Oversee maintenance of listing and transaction files, ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate policies. β€’ Manage project resources and assess needs, conducting training as necessary. β€’ Guide procurement and maintenance of office supplies and equipment, reviewing vendor service contracts. β€’ Apply knowledge of multiple disciplines to impact departmental and cross-functional performance. β€’ Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. β€’ Negotiate with external partners and vendors to reach common goals. β€’ Identify and solve complex operational and organizational problems. β€’ Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards. Requirements β€’ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education. β€’ Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and performance management is preferred. β€’ Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive and complicated information and handle problems effectively. β€’ Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets impacting multiple departments. β€’ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. β€’ Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset. β€’ Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship. Benefits β€’ Minimum salary of $165,000 and maximum salary of $190,000 annually, depending on skills and experience. β€’ Eligibility for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
