About the position As a CBRE Operations Management Sr. Director, you will oversee the department responsible for planning, managing, and directing business operations for a large region or high-profile client. This job is part of the Operations Management job function. They are responsible for coordinating staff functions and operations that support the organization's goals and strategies. Responsibilities β’ Provide formal supervision to employees. β’ Monitor the training and development of staff. β’ Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. β’ Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. β’ Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. β’ Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. β’ Set and track staff and department deadlines. β’ Mentor and coach as needed. β’ Drive efficient and effective strategic operations, including revenue growth and profitability. β’ Review departmental financial evaluations, including monthly revenue and expense projections. β’ Make recommendations based on the data presented. β’ Approve all Marketing collateral, press releases, and web publishing. β’ Verify they are in accordance with company standards. β’ Point of contact for marketing and communications teams. β’ Spearhead the maintenance of listing and transaction files. β’ Confirm compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. β’ Assess project needs and obtain resources from multiple departments. β’ Develop training programs ensuring office standards are met. β’ Manage the procurement and maintenance of office supplies and equipment. β’ Approve new vendor service contracts. β’ Drive financial and functional performance within disciplines and across the business. β’ Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. β’ Negotiate with senior management, customers, and external parties. β’ Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions. β’ Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems. Requirements β’ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience. β’ In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. β’ Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention. β’ Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information. β’ Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets. β’ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. β’ Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
