Freelance Video & Social Media Content Creator (Austin / Cedar Park, TX)Overview We’re looking for a talented and creative Freelance Video & Content Creator to help us produce high-quality video reels, social media content, and digital ad creatives. This person will play a key role in capturing footage, editing content, and managing video and graphic design projects for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and streaming TV ads. This is a freelance role to start, with the potential to grow into a part-time or full-time position as we expand our content output. The ideal candidate is local to Cedar Park / Austin, TX and can occasionally visit our office to capture on-site footage and team content. Key Responsibilities • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video content for use across Facebook, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. • Create static and motion graphics for organic posts and paid campaigns. • Produce and optimize video ads for Meta, YouTube, and streaming platforms (Hulu, Roku, etc.). • Manage content from concept through final delivery — including storyboarding, filming, editing, and publishing. • Repurpose longer content into shorter clips and reels for multiple platforms. • Collaborate with the marketing team to align creative strategy with campaign goals. • Stay current on social trends, audio, transitions, and reel formats that drive engagement. • Maintain organized video and design assets across channels. Requirements • Proven experience in video editing, social media content creation, and graphic design. • Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, Cap Cut or whatever you prefer. • Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or After Effects for social and ad design. • Working knowledge of Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, and social ad platforms. • Strong understanding of social-first storytelling and platform-specific best practices. • Access to basic filming equipment (camera or high-quality smartphone setup, lighting, microphone). • Must be based in or near Austin/Cedar Park, TX, and available for in-person shoots a few times per month. Preferred Skills • Experience creating TV or OTT streaming ads (e.g., Hulu, Amazon, Roku). • Basic understanding of paid ad specs and performance optimization. • Ability to create captioned, vertical, and square video formats for mobile-first publishing. • Interest in brand storytelling and professional services (law, finance, or similar fields).
