Job Title: HR & Payroll Coordinator Location: Orlando, FL | Hybrid Employment Type: Hourly, Full-Time (Part-Time option considered during startup phase) Pay Range: $23β25/hr DOE Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR & Payroll Coordinator to join the Playsory team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for employee HR needs, while serving as a liaison between our employees, leadership, and PEO HR Solutions. This role requires strong organizational skills, payroll knowledge, and the ability to create a positive employee experience in a fast-growing startup environment. Key Responsibilities β’ Serve as the employee-facing contact for HR-related questions, including payroll, time off, and benefits. β’ Coordinate payroll processing with Paychex to ensure accuracy and timely submissions. β’ Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including paperwork, orientation, and compliance checklists. β’ Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and internal systems. β’ Track PTO, leaves of absence, and assist with policy communications. β’ Support HR Manager with performance reviews, employee engagement, and compliance initiatives. β’ Recruitment & Hiring Support: β’ Draft and post job descriptions across job boards and internal platforms. β’ Screen resumes and coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers. β’ Assist with phone screens and initial candidate outreach as needed. β’ Maintain candidate tracking systems and ensure a positive candidate experience. β’ Provide administrative HR support for special projects and culture initiatives. Qualifications β’ 2+ years of experience in HR coordination, payroll, or recruitment support. β’ Familiarity with payroll systems (Paychex, ADP, or similar) required. β’ Experience supporting recruitment and interview coordination. β’ Strong interpersonal and communication skills; approachable and employee-focused. β’ Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. β’ Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. β’ Bachelorβs degree preferred but not required.
