About the position
- Responsibilities
- Create and maintain research datasets using electronic health data from Epic Clarity.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of developers within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Department.
- Deliver high-quality reports and datasets using UCI Health software such as Tableau, SSIS, SSRS, and Epic Reporting Workbench.
- Support health research data needs for the UCI Medical School.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ years of experience working with health data.
- 1+ years of experience with SQL and MS SQL Server, Oracle, or other SQL RDMS.
- 1+ years of experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Tableau, and Crystal Reports.
- 1+ year of data analytics experience using relational databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated customer service skills appropriate to the job.
- Nice-to-haves
- Strong working knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with Epic EMR system.
- Experience using Collibra or similar Data Governance platform.
- 2+ years of healthcare research data analytics experience.
- 2+ years of healthcare analytics experience.
- 2+ years of experience with SSRS, SSIS, Crystal Reports, and Tableau.
