Job Description
- Solid working knowledge of IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting file transfers.
- Experience with Connect:Direct, including scripting, connectivity setup, and file movement across internal/external systems.
- Proficient in working with containerized environments, specifically with Docker and Kubernetes, including pod-level operations, deployment tasks, and real-time log analysis.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems, including shell scripting and command-line tools for monitoring and debugging.
- Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and execute tasks precisely, with a clear understanding of the impact on shared environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
- Proficient with Jira for managing tasks, issues, and change tracking across Agile or DevOps workflows.
- Familiarity with Postman for testing and validating APIs, especially when working with integration or automation workflows.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
