Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and assess high-quality planned lessons for Year 3 students in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Create a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal development.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to share best practices and ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive, respectful atmosphere.
Essential Qualifications:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Solid understanding of the Year 3 curriculum and key stage 2 teaching strategies.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience teaching Year 3 or in a similar primary school setting.
- Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and be flexible in a supply role.
