- Help readers find reliable medical information to better manage their health
- Requirements
- At least five years of professional copy editing experience
- Proficient in AP style
- Comfortable using house style guides
- Rigorous about meeting deadlines
- Able to accurately fact-check references and medical information
- Proficient with editing in Google Docs
- Curious and willing to develop a working knowledge of 50-plus health conditions
- Organized and able to track many assignments simultaneously
- Nice-to-haves
- Experience with American Medical Association (AMA) reference formatting
- Familiarity with project management software, such as Asana
- Background in editing health or medical information
- Spanish language fluency
